Liza is my first bitch, after having only boys. I’ve heard saluki bitches described as “quirky” and Liza is no exception. As a puppy her antics had me laughing every day, she definitely has a silly side. She likes to have fun, but on her terms. I spent months at agility class trying to convince her it was fun, and while it was entertaining I was mostly unsuccessful. I show her occasionally at local shows, and she needs a major to finish. I was so thrilled when I took her to the National Specialty in 2005 and got 2nd place in American Bred Bitches. Liza thinks showing is something she can put up with, especially if I give her food. Her idea of fun is counter surfing, bothering the cats and pestering Tareef & Uri.
